Terms of Use

The short version: Atlas is yours to use for your own training, what you enter stays on your phone, and the app is general fitness guidance rather than medical advice. Exercise carries risk, and you decide what is right for your body.

Version 1.0 · in effect from 23 September 2026

Using Atlas

You may use Atlas for your own training, on devices you own or are authorised to use, for as long as the app is made available to you. That permission is personal and cannot be transferred.

You may not resell or commercially redistribute Atlas, rent or sublicense it, provide access to it as a service to others, copy it except where the law permits, reverse engineer or decompile it except where the law expressly permits, or use it to build a competing product by copying its protected content, design or functionality.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable law.

The current version

Atlas is being tested before its release. This version is free, with no purchases, no subscription and no advertising.

A test version can change between updates, and features may be added, changed or removed before the release.

A future version may offer paid features, such as a full program. If it does, the price and the terms are shown before you buy anything, and these terms will be updated where necessary.

Your information

Your answers and your training record belong to you. They are stored on your phone, as the privacy policy explains, and Atlas has no account and no server.

There is no backup of Atlas’s own and no export. If you lose the phone or clear the app’s data, and your phone’s own backup does not cover it, your plan and your history are gone.

What Atlas is, and what it is not

Atlas offers a structured workout plan, guided sessions and a record of what you did. It is general fitness guidance.

It is not medical advice, a medical device, physiotherapy or a treatment, and nothing in it is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.

The areas you ask it to go easy on change which movements your plan uses. That adapts a plan; it does not treat an injury.

If any of the safety conditions applies to you, or you have an injury, a condition or a pregnancy that exercise could affect, talk to a doctor before you start.

Exercise and your safety

Exercise carries risk, including injury. You decide whether a session suits you and how hard you work in it.

Stop and get help if you feel chest pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual shortness of breath or sharp pain.

Train in a space clear of anything you could hit, on a floor that does not slip.

No particular result is promised. How your body responds depends on many things the app does not know.

Availability

Atlas is provided as it is and as available. We aim to keep it working and current, and we do not promise that every feature is always available, uninterrupted or free of faults.

Changes to Android, to devices, to operating systems or to other technologies can affect how the app works, and updates may follow to keep it compatible. Features may be changed, suspended or withdrawn where that is reasonably necessary.

Other people’s work

The photographs, the exercise clips, the voice and the music were made for Atlas or are used with permission. You may use them as part of using Atlas. You may not reproduce, redistribute or sell them, except where the law allows it.

Privacy

Your use of Atlas is also governed by the privacy policy, at https://afterframe-studio.com/atlas/privacy. It explains what is stored, where it lives, how your phone’s own backup affects it, and how to delete it.

Ending your use of Atlas

Stop using Atlas whenever you like. There is nothing to cancel.

Uninstalling Atlas, or clearing its data, removes what it stores on the phone. https://afterframe-studio.com/atlas/delete-data sets out the steps, including your phone’s own backup.

Changes to these terms

These terms are updated when Atlas’s features or the legal requirements change, and a material change moves the version number and the date at the top. If accounts, synchronisation or paid features arrive, these terms will be updated to cover them. The current version is always at https://afterframe-studio.com/atlas/terms.
