Delete your Atlas data

To remove everything from the phone

Uninstall Atlas with your phone’s normal controls. Your answers, your plan, the workouts you finished and any session you left part way go with it, and the reminders stop.

If you would rather keep the app and start from nothing, clear its data instead. On most Android phones the path is:

1. Open Settings on your phone, then Apps.
2. Find Atlas in the list.
3. Open Storage, then Clear storage or Clear data.

The app stays installed and opens as though it were new. The exact wording moves a little between Android versions and manufacturers, but the path is the same.

Restart plan is not a deletion

In Atlas, Profile, Restart plan starts the same plan again from your next training day and keeps every workout you finished in Progress. To remove those as well, clear the app’s data as above.

Then check your phone’s own backup

This is the step that is easy to miss, and without it the first one is not the whole job.

Android backs app data up to your Google account. The feature is called Auto Backup, it is on by default on most phones, and it covers Atlas the same way it covers your other apps. So a copy of your answers and your workouts can sit in your own Google account even after the app is gone from the phone.

That copy is yours, in your account, protected by your Google password. Afterframe Studio cannot reach it. You manage it in your phone’s settings rather than in Atlas, usually under Settings, then Google, then Backup, where you can turn backup off or remove the backup for a device.

It is worth knowing in both directions. The same copy is what brings your plan and your history to a new phone, since Atlas has no account and no export.

What we hold

None of your answers or your workouts. Atlas has no account, so there is no copy of them on our side.

The crash reports and usage data the app sends, as the privacy policy describes, are tied only to a random number made for that installation, so we cannot find them from your name or your email. Turn them off in Profile, under Crash reports and Usage data; what was already sent is deleted when its period ends.

If you wrote to us or joined the test, we hold your email address and your messages, and your address is on the test’s list in Google Play Console. Ask, and we delete them and take you off the list.
