Delete your Atlas account
An account in Atlas is optional, made only to use groups. If you signed in with Google to make or join a group, this page is how you delete that account and everything kept with it. If you never signed in, there is nothing here to delete, and the data deletion page is the one you want.
From inside the app
- Open Atlas and go to Profile.
- In the Account card, where your name and email address are shown, choose Delete account.
- Choose Delete account again when you are asked.
You are asked first on purpose. It cannot be undone, and there is no recovery period.
What is deleted
Your account, with the name, email address and photograph Google gave us, and everything kept with it: the name and level your groups see, the workouts you finished that they saw, the workout you were last doing, your place in each group, the news that names you, and whom you blocked. It is deleted at once, not hidden or paused.
A group you made passes to the member who joined next. If you are its last member, the group is deleted with its name, its cover, its goal and its invite codes.
Atlas then signs you out on the phone and lets go of your Google sign-in. If the deletion fails, on a bad connection or otherwise, nothing has been deleted and you are still signed in. Try again when you have a connection.
What it does not delete
Your plan and your history on the phone. They were never on our server, and deleting the account leaves them where they are. To remove them, the data deletion page sets out how, your phone’s own Google backup included.
A report you sent, or one sent about you, is kept until its year ends, as the privacy policy says. It keeps the names it was sent with and is no longer linked to an account.
Crash reports and usage data are tied only to a random number made for the installation, not to your account, so nobody, us included, can find yours. They are deleted when their period ends.
If the app is already gone
Write to hello@afterframe-studio.com from the email address of the Google account you signed in with, and we delete the account for you. Or install Atlas again, sign in, and delete it from Profile as above.
Write from that address, or we cannot tell that the account is yours. You will get an answer within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
What is kept, who sees it and where, is in the privacy policy.
